Biography

Cat began music lessons at the age of 7 and quickly realised her love for it. Aged 14, she joined the Junior Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she studied Belinda Gough, Sheena Gordon, Ruth Morley and David Fennessey.

After school, she moved to London to study under Pamela Thorby, Ian Wilson and Robert Erlich at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she graduated with a BMus(Hons) degree. Whilst there, her ensemble won the European Recorder Teachers' Association prize and performed around Europe.

Shortly after leaving, Cat followed her passion for teaching and has more than 15 years experience educating individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. Specialising in recorder and flute, Cat's lessons are tailored to meet the needs of each pupil and encourage your knowledge of music through fun learning.
