Zara, is relaxed and puts you at ease and as I soon found out, has indepth knowledge and vast experience as both a singer/performer and as a singing teacher. Although there is a lot to learn, I always found Zara to be flexible and always careful to ensure you progress at a pace that suits you. It was a relief to discover that little or no knownledge of music theory was required and what little theory there was, Zara took time to make sure it was presented in a simple and easy to understand manner. As with learning any new skill, there is a lot to learn and remember. But with patience and regular practise, Zara's teaching methods soon start to pay off. I was someone that never thought they could learn to sing, let alone sing in public! But now I can and I do, thanks to Zara.

Having not sung since I was young, i was worried that I wouldn't be able to get to a standard that was both rewarding for me and tuneful to others! With Zara's great empathy and knowledge, learning to sing again (as it were), is fun and stimulating. Zara encourages and supports you throughout, guiding you through a structured programme of vocal techniques, all wrapped up in a practical application to singing. Zara gives you the confidence to try new genres of music and in so doing allows one to reach levels of achievement that I had not thought I could manage. Thank you Zara - and I look forward to many more lessons with you. In a nutshell, if you want to have a dedicated and enthusiatic singing teacher - then Zara is the person for you!

Zara gave me the confidence to push myself out of my comfort zone and believe in myself. My voice has improved, my confidence has grown and I enjoy singing far more. I no longer hear a song and think "I can't do that", I tackle it using Zarah's advice, and I can do it!

I have been singing (or so I thought!) for 35 years as a backing vocalist/drummer in a pro and semi pro situation. I decided to go as a lead vocalist in a tribute band. I didn't understand why I couldn't sing some of the songs and was worried that we would have to change the key.. Zoe showed me what I was doing wrong in my technique and taught me how to sing all the songs in the exact keys and with the correct amount of gravel and tone. Turns out I have a 3 octave voice and can now look at any song and work out how to use my voice to sing it! My chosen singer was paul Rodgers (Bad Company/Free) so no pressure! Zoe is highly recommended, she is very knowledgable and makes you feel relaxed and confident. If you want to learn how to sing, improve your technique or just understand what to do and how to do it better, she is the best person to help you

Thank you Zara for your calm direction and constant encouragement taking me from clueless beginner through to confident public singer. I have started on a performing journey which is only just beginning :-) Jon
