Notes:
I have been teaching clarinet, saxophone, flute, piano and music theory privately since 2013. I currently serve as the Teacher of Woodwind at James Wolfe Primary School with Centre for the Deaf in London and I have co-founded RISE Music Academy (www.risemusicacademy.co.uk); a music school for SEN children. I have had years of experience guiding students through the ABRSM grade system and average distinctions with entries for both practical and theory examinations.
I strive to ignite each individuals passion for their chosen instrument through working on a mixture of great music and exciting tailored curriculum whilst still focusing on developing strong technical foundations needed for consistent progression.
I have a fully equipped teaching studio at my house in SE Ipswich that allows me to give the best quality music teaching possible. I also provide online lessons via Zoom so that you can learn your chosen instrument from the comfort and convenience of your own home. I am fully DBS checked (Enhanced), a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) and I am a registered private teacher for ISM. I have a first class degree in Music Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and have participated in multiple teaching and learning courses (individual and community music teaching) over the last 4 years.
Discounts available for monthly block booking of lessons and instrument hire is possible subject to availability. Please do contact me for further information.
