Tim trained as an operatic tenor at the Royal Academy of Music.

He has extensive experience as both a choral singer and a soloist, as well as in professional opera. Recently, Tim covered the role of Sellem in Stravinsky's 'The Rake's Progress' at Aix-en-Provence International Opera Festival, as well as performing in the chorus.

As a choral singer, he has performed with many cathedral choirs and consorts, including Wells Cathedral Choir, Norwich Cathedral Choir, the Rodolphus Choir, and the Wellensian Consort.

As a soloist he has performed a wide variety of music, from Bach's B Minor Mass to Jonathan Dove's opera 'Flight'.

Tim understands what it is like to try and control and develop a growing voice, having harnessed his own from small-scale choir singing, through the ABRSM grades and professional choir singing, to professional solo work and opera training.

He welcomes pupils of all ages and abilities.
