Biography

Whether you’re new to flute or would like to start lessons again after a break from learning I work with my students to plan personalised lessons which work towards their own goals and interests. I enjoy teaching both adults and children. For children who are too small to start on a flute straight away I am happy to teach the recorder or fife until they get a little bigger! I also teach music theory and piccolo.

I am a passionate musician with over 15 years teaching experience as well as being an active performer. I work with leading U.K orchestras including the BBC symphony orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. I am regularly in the studio for film and pop sessions and you can hear me on tracks by Madonna and Kanye West.

I trained at the Guildhall before studying for a masters in Sweden. I currently teach at Rowan Prep and Queen’s Gate school as well as private students who I teach in person at my home in Sutton and online via zoom.
