I am currently Head of Brass at the Birmingham Junior Conservatoire and as well as being Head of Instrumental Studies at Nottingham High School I teach the Trombone at Nottingham University and am on the Instrumental teaching staff at the London College of Music.
I have had a long and varied freelance career as a performer being principal Trombone of the East of England, English Philharmonic and British Philharmonic Concert Orchestras. I have also had some thirty years experience of playing with Big Bands in the Midlands.
I have a wealth of Brass Band experience having played with the Jones and Crossland, Grimethorpe Colliery and Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Bands in the past.
Having relocated to the West London area I would welcome enquiries from private pupils.
