I am a professional and dedicated clarinettist, reed player and teacher based in South London. I have taught since 2010, and recently graduated with distinction from the Masters programme at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I was awarded the Concert Recital Diploma.

I teach online via live video, and at pupils' homes.

I have a clear, up-to-date, enhanced DBS certificate and am trained in child safeguarding to level 2.

I have taught privately since 2010, and have taught in music centres across London since 2016. I am a consultant music tutor for the London Music Centre, and work for the Wandsworth Music Academy and Fern Hill Music Centre. My teaching work includes tutoring beginners up to post grade 8, adults and children, one-to-one and whole classrooms, teaching instrumental lessons and music theory, and coaching youth orchestras. I am employed to teach the clarinet, saxophone, flute, recorder and theory in schools, music centres and for my own private practice. My previous pupils have included all ages and abilities, from young children starting out to adults picking up the clarinet after a long break. I am happy prepare pupils for graded exams, and understand those who wish not to undertake them.

I am also busy as a performer, playing the clarinet, saxophone and flute in orchestras, chamber groups, big bands and theatre bands.

I am formally trained in performance, improvisation, composition, harmony & counterpoint, orchestration, musical theory, history, analysis & aesthetics.
