I play and teach clarinet, flute, sax and music theory in South London. I have taught since 2010 and recently graduated with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Masters of Music degree and a Concert Recital Diploma. I also hold an honours degree in music from the University of Manchester.

I play and teach in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, contemporary (pop) and Irish traditional. Students learn to play both by ear and from sheet music. I am currently teaching online via live video, and at pupils' homes. I have a clear, up-to-date, enhanced DBS certificate and am trained in child safeguarding to level 2.

I have been a private tutor since 2010 and have taught in schools and music centres across London since 2016. I currently teach at the Wandsworth Music Academy, St Cecilia’s School and Pembroke Academy of Music. My students include beginners up to post-grade 8, adults and children, instrumental lessons and music theory, and coaching youth orchestras. I have plenty of experience preparing pupils for scholarship auditions and graded exams, for those who choose to take them.

I am also busy as a performer, playing the clarinet, saxophone and flute in orchestras and theatre bands.
