Hailey Willington is an active violinist and teacher in London. She earned a bachelor of Music from the Royal College of Music studying violin with Itzhak Rashkovsky and a Masters of Performance in Historical Performance with Distinction learning with Catherine Martin. While at the RCM Hailey was awarded the Parnassus Award and Ian Evans Lombe Award. As a soloist and chamber musician Hailey has played in venues including Buckingham Palace, Cadogan Hall and the palace of Versailles to name a few. Hailey is an active orchestral musician and regularly performs with ensembles including the Gabrieli Consort and Players, St. Jamesís Baroque, London Handel Orchestra, Classical Opera Company and Florilegium among others. In addition to her playing, Hailey is a passionate teacher of Violin and Viola. She is Head of Strings at Merton Music Foundation, Violin teacher at both Lingfield College and the Marymount International School, London, and has an enthusiastic studio of private pupils in South London.
