- Freelance trumpeter for several years. Highlights have included playing on the 2014 BBC Radio 4 Christmas Morning Broadcast from Portsmouth Cathedral
- Recent freelance work has included playing in a big band for BBC Somerset's Christmas Extravaganza 2017, concerts with the Milestone Collective Big Band and many South-West based orchestras.
- Founder member of Mr. Chubb's Gastric Band, a Bristol-based function band.
- I sing with The Fitzhardinge Consort, Bath Camerata and many other South-West based choirs.
- As a soloist, I have performed with a number of ensembles, most notably while on tour with the University in Prague (Schubert's Mass in F, 2016) and Barcelona last year (Mozart's Requiem).
- Have performed at the BBC Proms under the batons of Simon Rattle (Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius with the Vienna Philharmonic, 2015) and Marin Alsop (Verdi’s Requiem, 2016).
- Chorister at Portsmouth Cathedral (2003-2008).
Since leaving university, I have given public trumpet and organ recitals across Hampshire and in Bristol. My next recital will be in Wells Cathedral for the ‘new music wells 78-18’ festival accompanied by Dr. David Bednall.
Other pursuits have included conducting a small choir specialising in 20th century repertoire, and founding a Bristol-based function band.
