Notes:

I am a patient teacher - if a student doesn't understand something, I will happily come up with other ways of explaining things. It is essential that everything is understood as gaps in knowledge can be problematic further on. I thoroughly enjoy teaching to all ages and abilities.

Was a student at the Royal Academy of Music studying composition with Phillip Cashian and studying singing with Alex Ashworth. Have written for multiple ensembles from solo clarinet to full orchestra to choir. Composition has developed my theory skills greatly to the demands of the Academy when preparing for Orchestral workshops. I graduated with a first and achieved the highest mark for my final composition portfolio.

Experienced ensemble and solo singer and have performed internationally with groups including Genesis Sixteen, Carice Singers, Temple Singers, St Martins Voices, Mogens Dahl Kammelkor, Det Norske Solistkor. I have future engagements with Mogens Dahl Kammelkor in Denmark, with Det Norske Solistkor in Oslo for a premiere and a tour to Switzerland with Tenebrae.

Experience with teaching younger children at Lincoln Minster School whilst singing at the cathedral for daily services.
