“Everything I learned in my life, I learned because I decided to try something new." David Lynch

Whether you're a professional singer looking for some top up lessons or a complete beginner purely wanting to experience the joy of singing for pleasure, I offer bespoke singing and voice coaching on a one to one basis.

I am a musician, singer and songwriter with a huge passion for music. I am fascinated by other people’s journeys to self expression and I have 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of performing arts disciplines, from acting and dance to singing and musical theatre.

My teaching method combines many aspects of my professional experience but most importantly the 3 years Acting training at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama under, internationally renowned voice coach, Patsy Rodenburg and the ESTILL Certificates 1 and 2. My own journey to becoming a professional singer and songwriter has given me a very useful perspective in teaching others.

Anyone who enjoys music can sing. The voice is an instrument which we simply need to learn how to play and because this instrument is inside of us, much of this process comes from learning an awareness of our bodies and the mechanisms inside.

I am happy to work with your own repertoire, find songs for you or develop or discover your own songwriting skills. I can also teach mic technique, recording your own voice, songwriting and writing with Logic.

Your voice is unique, with its own story and freeing your expression is a journey. Let's go!

Testimonials:

"I wasn't sure what to expect from a first lesson with Becca. Turned out she had a very good command of the mechanics of voice and could explain this simply. More importantly as we went on, she gave me the courage to get through moments of awkward self awareness, (she has a good sense of humour), pushed me to do things I was sure I couldn't do and helped me find a quality in my voice I had not heard before, leaving me excited to come back for more." John Scaife

"Rebecca is a really great teacher! Fun, encouraging and very skilful! I really enjoy my singing lessons with her and feel myself improving every time. She’s the best!" Daisy Smith
