Notes:

I am a very experienced and versatile Classical musician, with experience as a teacher, composer, choral conductor and performer. For my Bachelor’s degree, I specialised in composition and analysis, as well as performance on Flute. I gained a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Flute Performance. I then trained as a secondary school music teacher (ages 11-18) and secured a position at St. George’s College, Weybridge for five years.

Given the opportunity to move to New York City for two and half years, I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Music. During my Master’s degree, I studied composition with the acclaimed composers, Shafer Mahoney and Philip Rothman and flute with Mary Barto. Specialising in both Flute performance and composition, I completed my Masters degree six months early, with perfect scores and winning the “Class of 1895 Prize”.

Since moving back to the UK I am now focussed on building up my portfolio of teaching, bringing my vast experience and expertise to the table. Currently, I am working as a private music teacher and a choral conductor.
