Notes:

Friendly, enthusiastic, highly-experienced and understanding teacher. I have been teaching for over 14 years; privately, in schools, leading workshops, music education projects and community music programmes.

My studentsí needs are always the most important thing to me in all my classes and are completely tailored to what you want to achieve; whether that be simply for enjoyment and leisure, or working towards exams and auditions. I am experienced in working with all age groups right from Early Years music classes to many successful adult students.

I have a lot of experience and enjoy working with complete beginners, and really support my students through the crucial first steps offering constant guidance and support, developing only at a rate you are comfortable with. Whatever your goal, fun and enjoyment are always my key priorities!

I am a trained Kodaly and Dalcroze teacher, and am passionate about a holistic approach to music education. I also have a 100% pass rate for music exams, both practical and theory.

I am a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and have also worked as an Editor for a number of large educational-music publishers, including Boosey & Hawkes, A & C Black and The Music Sales Group. In this capacity I have edited many successful tutor and educational resources including the Abracadabra instrumental tutor series, the Singing Sherlock songbook series and Chesterís Easiest Piano Course.

I am also an experienced orchestral and chamber music performer, working on a freelance basis with many of the leading London orchestras and ensembles.

All lessons are provided in the comfort of your own home, and times can be flexible to suit your schedule. I prefer to teach Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 10.00pm but special arrangements can be made outside these times and at weekends.
