Complete beginners to post grade 8 taught in classical guitar and ukulele. Beginners to intermediate in banjo. Beginners to Grade 8 in Acoustic/Steel-string guitar.

I have three published ukulele books, two of which forms part of the Victoria College of Music exam syllabus. I co-authored another book of ukulele duets with Paul Mansell. I have qualified teacher status. I am a member of the Incorporated Society of musicians, charging the average recommended rate, although this can be negotiated where necessary. 20% discount offered for block of ten lessons.

I can offer Ukulele exams through the MTB syllabus (Music Teachers' Board) with stress-free exams. I record your playing in an informal setting and send the result to a moderator. I use TRINITY and ABRSM for guitar exams but MTB also have a guitar syllabus for those who don't want the fear and formality! Exams, of course are not compulsory.

I can offer lessons through Skype.
