Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

I have been teaching both adults and children of all abilities since 2004, gaining a 100% pass rate with all exam entries (ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall & Rock School). I trained in Classical and Operatic singing at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and have been working professionally as an Opera Singer since 2009. As well as Opera, I have also performed with Jazz ensembles, as a guest soloist for choirs all over the country and in Musicals.

I can teach from home in Bayswater, just 5 minutes walk from Lancaster Gate or Paddington. Alternatively, I can visit you at home, provided you have a piano or keyboard available to use.

I am fully CRB checked and have completed the NSPCC's online training course for Safeguarding of Children in an Educational Environment. I have worked in many schools and nurseries as a teaching assistant and also for organisations such as Stagecoach.
