Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Ability Levels: Beginners to Intermediate

Notes:

My background is in playing rock, folk and improvised musics. I've played guitar for 20 years and have had music I've written played on BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 Music and BBC1.

My teaching is based around what you are interested in learning. I can teach in the styles above, beginners basics, progression for intermediate players, work on songs, tips to improve, ideas for improvising, music theory and how it relates to the guitar. I teach from my home studio near Stretford Metro.

Basically lessons are driven by what you are interested in doing!
