Sue Bint

Sue studied violin and piano at the Royal Northern College of Music for four years, graduating GMusRNCM (Hons). She gained her Post-graduate Certificate in Education, was the recipient of the Montgomeryshire Society Music Prize, and in 2009 was awarded MA in Applied Music Education with Distinction.

Sue is a highly experienced violin and viola teacher, who successfully prepares students for ABRSM exams, and for auditions to specialist music schools, youth orchestras and conservatoires.

Sue divides her time between her thriving private teaching practice and her examining for ABRSM throughout the UK and internationally. She relishes teaching string players of all levels from beginner to diploma standard.

As a violinist Sue leads Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra, with whom she has also performed as soloist at The Anvil, and she gives regular recitals with Speranza String Quartet throughout the south of England and on tour in Wales.

Sue is DBS checked and is a member of the European String Teachers' Association (ESTA) and the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM).
