Notes:

I am currently a freelance violinist, passionate about sharing the knowledge I've been given to help others have as much fun with music as I have!

I have taught for over 9 years privately, in schools, and for a variety of music services. I am happy to teach individually or in groups, but would recommend no more than two (children) per session.
I teach individual lessons, group lessons, chamber music sessions, and tutor youth and amateur orchestras.

I am also an active performer, playing regularly with many professional orchestras such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Opera North, Manchester Camerata, and Sinfonia Viva and Orchestra de Camera.

I teach all ages from 5 upwards, and from beginner through to grade 8 and entry to music college. Should you wish to enter for exams, the exam board I currently use is ABRSM , but I am perfectly happy to discuss other exam boards/qualifications you may be interested in.

My students have a 100% pass rate across all levels.

I am a member of the Musicians Union, and have a fully up to date DBS (formerly CRB) form.

Playing music will improve your life more than you can possibly imagine; emotionally, physically, and mentally. Whether you want to learn for the first time, continue your studies, or pick up an instrument again for the first time in years, jump in.....there's so much on offer!
