Education:

-2008-2009 Master in Advanced Instrumental Studies, at Guildhall School, London.

-2002-2006 Degree in Classical and Contemporary Music – Advanced Interpretation (Guitar), at Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC)

-2000-2002 Science Bachelor (High School)

Languages:

-English: Medium level (6,5 IELTS) in speaking and writing.
-Spanish and Catalan: mother languages – fluent in speaking and writing.

Training:

-2002-2006: Superior Studies in Classical Guitar at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) with Zoran Dukic and Àlex Garrobé. Additional studies in Interpretation with Xavier Coll and Feliu Gasull (Chamber Music), and Emilio Molina (Improvisation). Obtained ‘Distinction’ in final degree project on music and poetry.

-Attended a wide variety of courses and masterclasses with different professors including: David Russell, Roberto Aussel, Marcyn Dilla, Carles Trepat, Marco Socías, Miguel Trápaga, Roland Dyens, , Eduardo Isaac, Hübbert Kappel, Ignacio Rodes, Laura Yong.


Professional experience:

-2002-present: Considerable concert experience as a soloist.

3rd prize, and best interpreter prize in Comunitat Valenciana in Jose Tomás – Villa de Petrer Competition (2003)
2nd prize in Fundació l’Arjau Competition (2003)
2nd prize in Vila de Salou Competition (2002)


-2002-present: Considerable concert experience in chamber music.

Quartet Galiu (guitar quartet - www.quartetgaliu.com )
Duets with guitar, voice, cello, double bass, etc.
La veu de les cordes: artistic project on music and poetry, born out of the final degree project. Group: guitar, voice, recitation.
Tango Magnètic – music and dance show, with music from Astor Piazzolla.
