I started playing the Piano and Cello at the age of four. As my career developed I won a scholarship the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music at eleven. At eighteen I won an exhibition to the Royal College of Music to further my studies to a professional level. I was exceptionally lucky to have been taught the Cello by the late Christopher Bunting and Piano by the late Peter Wallfisch whose musical knowledge and techniques were inspirational.
Having spent the last fourteen years in Malta playing with the Malta Philharmonic, I came back to the UK to bring up my children. I teach at St Clares, Oxford, Cokethorpe School Witney and Musicland Oxford, as well as teaching privately at home.
I teach ages 5 upwards and all standards. Theory and Aural tuition also provided if needed for grade examinations. Lessons are tailored to the requirements of the individual and are fun!
I also coach musicians who are gearing up for concerts and Music School auditions with stage techniques and preparation that help establish optimum performance.

Due to Covid 19 the majority of lessons are being conducted online.
