In association with
Mr Bernard Pulham

I was born in Hertfordshire, and have lived in Cheshire, Devon, Manchester, and London before settling in East Sussex. I attended Chetham's School of Music where I studied piano with the celebrated Charles Hopkins and graduated in performance and composition at Dartington College of Arts. My musicological studies continued at Manchester University, and I gained a Distinction in my PGCE for music teaching speciality at Reading, Bulmershe College.
I have given recitals and participated in masterclasses in both England and Germany. i have followed a career teaching and leading through the Arts in Primary Education.
My teaching style is lively and supportive. I have a wide appreciation of music and encourage a similar enthusiasm for many musical styles in my students. I am successful preparing students for all examination levels, and most importantly I endeavour to promote pianism as a lifelong skill, full of enjoyment.
