Notes:

I am an upper strings and music curriculum teacher, having trained as a Specialist Musician at Wells Cathedral School before continuing my studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London winning the Maurice Loban Final Recital Prize. I also gained my PGCE at the Institute of Education, London University, qualifying as a classroom practitioner, ages 11-18.

I have experience of working with disabilities (Autism and ADHD in particular) and have also seen a good deal of success with advanced pupils helping them to secure places at music college for professional classical study. I teach violin and viola, beginner to professional standard and offer beginner piano, music theory and curriculum tuition. I can offer examination progression via ABRSM and Trinity but am equally happy to teach pupils just wanting to learn for pleasure. I always aim to teach with humour and a warm, encouraging approach.

Please give me a call with your enquiry and arrange a free consultation lesson. Thereafter, 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons are available. Pay as you go - no pay in advance block or termly fees!
