Instruments: Singing
Genre/Style(s): Pop
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

My name is Stefanie. I am a professional vocalist with several years of performance and teaching experience looking to take on some new students to add to my current roster.

I specialise in teaching Pop, Rock, Soul and Jazz. I concentrate on developing vocal qualities, diaphragmatic breathing, projection and vocal health, as well as performance, mic and recording skills. I believe in educating students about the inner workings of their voice and the skills around getting the most out of their instrument. I also have experience and knowledge of technology and optimise this in lessons - whether that be recording or creating music. Most beginners (especially children) are keen to learn songs they are familiar with, so I always try to get new starts to learn the type of music they want, rather than pushing them into a genre or material that does not interest them.

I take on students of any age and level of ability, and my pricing plans are available on request. I prefer to book in lesson blocks, and offer financial incentives to those willing to do this.

I tutor music students at The University Of Strathclyde where I also gained my degree in Applied Music. I also teach voice at a private school in Glasgow. I have a full Disclosure Scotland PVG should you require it.

As well as teaching singing, I am a professional musician, gigging in and around the UK, Europe, USA & Asia.
