Notes:
Whether you're starting from scratch, brushing up on old pieces, or entering for an advanced diploma exam, I've had over 17 years' experience, teaching the piano and music theory in London, Ascot and Brighton. All ages (5 - 100) and all styles (classical, jazz, pop, EDM). I place special emphasis on playing the piano or keyboard in a relaxed, tension-free manner; minimum effort for maximum results. I incorporate music theory, aural training, sight-reading, improvisation, composition, music history, listening and technology into lessons. Although I am happy to take students through ABRSM (including the Jazz syllabus), Trinity Guildhall and Rock School exams, the focus is always on having fun and bringing people together through music.
All my teaching is conducted online only via Zoom or Skype.
I operate a 'pay as you go' system - no more contracts, minimum amount of lessons, chasing payments, etc.
