Biography
I was born in Namibia in 1975 and studied at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, before emigrating to the UK in 2000. My teachers in the UK include Angela Lear and Graham Fitch for piano, and Frederick Stocken for music pedagogy. I love all types of music and embrace a broad range of musical styles including classical, jazz, tango, pop and EDM.
As a solo pianist and accompanist, I have performed across South Africa, London, Devon and Sussex, and I've been a happy resident of Saltdean, Brighton since 2014.
Currently, I divide my time between teaching piano and music theory online via Skype and Zoom; performing and accompanying; composing; arranging; and organising a variety of concerts and musical events.
