I compose pieces inspired by my experiences in places such as Greenland, Tanzania and the Cairngorms, collaborating with the Finzi Trust and the poet, Helen Mort, amongst others.

I teach piano for Fulham Boys School.

I'm particularly interested to work with pianists and composers at this time but will also

I work in a structured and rich way. As a keen climber I'm very interested in muscle memory. As a composer and conductor I take into account the wider historical and cultural picture of all repertoire studied.

I'm friendly and I follow up every lesson with an email to the student (and family if the student is under 18) to review the lesson and the goals for the next session.
