Musical Experience:
I have a love for teaching, knowing how important music and performing is to myself, I feel strongly about opening up opportunities for others through music. Music is fun, a social activity and can help a person become more confident and creative. I am a friendly, honest and open person and care very much about people’s interests and ambitions in music. I always give 100% to my teaching and at making sure I can bring out the best in every student.

•Teaching experience – As well as my teaching experience through University and spending a lot of time in schools for placement, I have taught privately for five years a range of ages from five to sixty five. I also taught at SC&T (Scottish Culture and Traditions), an organisation based in Aberdeen for all ages. At SC&T there are a number of classes people can sign up to and for all different levels of ability. I held the session class for two years every Tuesday evening, learning the class Scottish dance tunes by ear. I then held the Singing / Song writing class the term after. I also taught at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival 2015. This was a brilliant week teaching young children aged six to twelve. There was a range of instruments involved and we performed our week’s repertoire at the end of week concert.
