Former Drumtech/Basstech tutor with 27 years teaching experience from beginner to post-graduate level, with experience teaching students from various universities around the country, including teaching Masters students from Brunel University, and giving masterclasses or lectures at Salford Uni, Leeds Beckett Uni, ICMP, Stanford (California US), Duquesne (Pittsburgh US), LA Music Academy, the ACM, Leicester College, Guitar Institute and Perth College.

I'm currently teach at BIMM Birmingham, on their degree program, teaching bass, performing with creative technology and solo performance.

I do regular live seminars and have created three courses for Scotts Bass Lessons, on fretless playing, looping and pedals/effects.

I write the Beginning bass column in Bass Guitar Magazine/Bass Player, and was on the cover of the mag in Oct 2015 - read the feature at
