Notes:

I am an enthusiastic and passionate oboist and love teaching to anyone (children, adults – there is no age to learn music!) curious about oboe, cor anglais, music theory or reed making!

My lessons are always adapted to the needs and aspirations of my students. I always aim to give confidence to my students whilst bringing them to the highest level they can achieve but always in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Music should always be fun (even reed making or music theory, promise!)

I have been trained as an all-rounded musician all over Europe. I can therefore teach oboe, cor anglais, reed making and music theory (including music analysis, history etc.)
I am well aware of the various syllabus for graded exams in the UK, Switzerland, France and Germany.
I can prepare my students for these if they wish to do so.

I have taught privately for the last four years and I am now a cover teaching musician for Sistema Scotland.

Orchestra experiences include playing with Scottish Opera, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Concert Orchestra, Orchestra Excellence (Italy) and the Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra (Russia)
I have also been an apprentice with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Scottish Chamber Orchestra

I am very flexible in terms of scheduling lessons. These can be during the week or week-end.
I am happy to teach on the long term but also as a one-off if you just need a little help on something specific.

I teach from home in Glasgow, only 10 minutes away from Glasgow Central. I can also commute to student’s houses if these remain within Glasgow or greater Glasgow (a small fee for transport will be added)

Fees: £20 30min/ £25 45min/ £30 60min / transport fee: £2-£5 depending on location
