I have been singing since I was very young and have been training classically for over 10 years. I have an extensive knowledge of classical repertory, as well as musical theatre and pop. I work as a freelance classical soprano and singing teacher. I travel to various locations for my job, and perform at various events such as weddings, recitals, and corporate functions etc.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Voice from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and a First Class degree in classical voice from City University of London. I was on the Glyndebourne Opera House Academy programme in 2017, subsequently winning the Bill Weston Young Singer Award from Glyndebourne, in October 2018.

Having worked on my singing technique with top vocal coaches throughout my musical education, I really enjoy teaching and love seeing students progress during our lessons.

I teach from home and I have my own quiet music room, and I live a 5 minute drive from pontypool town centre.
I am also now offering lessons online, via Skype.

My teaching style is very relaxed, and I believe lessons should always be a fun, positive experience, with the student feeling they have achieved and developed something when the lesson is completed.

I teach classical technique to all voices at all stages; so whether you're a complete beginner, or have been singing/had singing lessons before, it does not matter.

The ages I teach tends to be 15+, however if your child is younger and is especially interested in singing and performing I would love to hear from you too.

During my time at the Royal Welsh College, I have taken an Advanced Teaching module to further my teaching skills, which included child/vulnerable adult safeguarding, and have various teaching methods including Dalcroze, Suzuki, and confidence building.

A student who is interested in musical theatre or classical singing would really benefit from my teaching, given my vast knowledge of classical singing technique, and exposure with fantastic conservatoire teachers in London and Cardiff, however teaching musical theatre is also a great passion of mine.

Do get in touch if you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing from you!
