Music and Performing Arts have played a pivotal role in my life since the age of 5 and I have always had a passion for singing. 'Born to perform' was the description used by my very first music teacher at 11 years old and now I am a professional Dramatic Soprano. I am told that I sing from the heart and connect well with the audience whatever the occasion.

In 2006, I won a scholarship to Chethams School of Music in Manchester for 6th Form and then again in 2008, when I was lucky enough to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. A few years later, I continued my studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich. During my third year, I undertook a 6 month international Erasmus Study Placement course at the best Music College in Italy, the Conservatorio di musica 'Guiseppe Verdi' di Milano.

During my time at the 3 prestigious Music Conservatoires over the course of nearly 10 years, I took teaching modules as part of my degree, which were called ‘Engaging Audiences’. I would join small instrumental groups and put on workshops and assemblies at schools introducing different genres of music. We would also sing/play to them to show diversity. I performed arias to give them a chance to understand the world of classical music but we did also sing current popular music as well as a group.

I used my teaching experience as the Vocal Coach at Stagecoach Performing Arts School in Salisbury on Saturdays whereby I would teach pupils from 4-16yrs. I would give them exercises, workshops, masterclasses and group lessons. I worked on perfecting their chosen pieces so they were ready to perform at the end of term show. I am currently the Vocal Coach at Cameron House primary school in Chelsea as well as give one-to-one private tuition at pupils houses as well.

In 2011, I worked as an Outside Activities Co-Ordinator at Sandy Balls Holiday Village which is a 5* holiday resort in The New Forrest, Hampshire. I would take large groups of children of all ages on trips around the area to go canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, rock climbing and sailing. At the camp itself, I would put on activities like cheerleading, table-tennis, tag rugby, football skills, street dance and indoor activities as well like painting, collage, pearl necklace making and much more. I am confident in taking large groups of people on outings or entertaining them with activities and choirs.

I am extremely positive and fun but I make sure my students work hard to achieve the best that they can. I try to aim for a goal at the end of a period of time after learning pieces for example to perform somewhere local in front of an audience/School/Church or to work towards ABRSM Grades. Some of my pupils took their ABRSM Grade 5 Vocal exam last term and passed with Distinction and are already about to take their Grade 6. I have and continue to receive fantastic feedback from all parents and teachers.
