Following training with Philip Martin at Birmingham Conservatoire, I teach piano, voice and theory both privately and in schools including The Elgar School of Music.
In addition I work as a Musical Director and performer.
Until recently I was an accompanist and repetiteur at the Birmingham School of Acting, (formerly BSSD), and have worked with (amongst others!) the MAC, the Norbury Theatre and the Everyman Theatre,Cheltenham - I feel it is important to do what I teach!
I teach from my home in Powick- unfortunately owing to time constraints, I am unable to make home visits.
Terms are two calendar months long following an initial consultation lesson and may be taken weekly, fortnightly or by other arrangement to suit.
I am a full member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
In addition to regular lessons i run the Malvern Hills Piano Holiday - a music "summer school" for amateur adult pianists. This is now expanding to include weekend courses. See our website for details
