I teach from my home in Honor Oak Park on a lovely Kawai upright piano.
I have been teaching privately for the last 10 years and love working with students of all ages and abilities. I believe that it is never too late in life to learn music, and although I encourage all of my students to take ABRSM grades, I understand that some students just like to play for fun without the pressure of exams. I do, however, encourage all of my students to study music theory with me alongside learning how to play the piano or singing. I believe it is a vital element for learning an instrument as it builds the student's knowledge of how to read music and understand its foundation. I incorporate this in to their weekly lessons.
I am also available for accompanying musicians and singers for their exams, competitions or concerts so please feel free to get in touch.
