Qualifications:
Solo fiddle and band player with 20 years teaching experience. Classically trained and grew up with traditional fiddle music so I learned both in tandem from a young age.

All ages and abilities welcome, from absolute beginners though to experienced classical players wanting to learn the traditional style. Music theory and learning to read music part of lessons if required.

Happy to teach with music or by ear - usually do a bit of both!

Notes:

All individual lessons take place in my home in the West End but happy to discuss traveling to pupils' homes if required.

Introductory 1/2 hour 1st meeting/lesson £10. I have various sizes of fiddles so you can try before you rent or buy your own instrument.

Workshops and get-togethers with groups of pupils will take place from summer 2015 at studio space in Partick, giving everyone an opportunity to meet and play with others in a relaxed and fun environment.

Bands include Burach, Ceilidh Minogue, International Ceilidh Collective, Black Rose Ceilidh Band, Sensational Jimi Shandrix Experience.
