Notes:

Pablo was born in León, Spain, where he started playing violin when he was 7. He later moved to the Conservatory of Music Eduardo Martinez Torner, Oviedo, where he graduated in 2006. One year later he obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

He has attended courses and master classes with violinists such as Jose Ramon Hevia, Hector Corpus, Gonçal Comellas, Aitor Hevia, Yuri Pissarevsky and Natalia Lomeiko among others.

From the beginning of his career he took part in many instrumental ensembles and orchestras: Jeunesses Musicales of Leon, Oviedo International Youth Orchestra, Asturias Symphony Youth Orchestra, Orquesta Liceo de Barcelona, Orquesta Millennium Ciudad de Gijon, Orquesta Sinfónica Odón Alonso, etc. In 2004 he started his string quartet adventure with the Mixture String Quartet, performing around the north of Spain, both recitals and educational concerts in schools. Thanks to all those experiences he decided to follow a new path establishing the Duo Klier along with violinist and partner Talia Ramos. Since then they have been performing either recitals as a violin duo & soloists and running creative educational projects.

In 2011 he moved to London to keep exploring and learning about performing and teaching, having the chance to receive lessons from David Ballesteros, inspiring violinist of the LSO, to work along with former colleagues of Sheila Nelson at THAMES (Tower Hamlets Music Service) and to be trained as a teacher at The DaCapo Music Foundation.

As a student he was educated in a traditional approach and always wanted to learn about other methods like Kodaly, Suzuki, Dalcroze, etc. Moving to London enabled him to do that and now he’s applying the best of each method in his private studio, with great results. His enthusiasm in music education, and more specifically in violin pedagogy, has led him to attend courses and seminars with renowned music educators in the last few years:

· 07/2011: “Practical Psychology for Teachers and Performers” with Lucinda Mackworth-Young.
· 10/2014: “From Feet Up” with Simon Cartledge.
· 11/2014: “Introduction to the Suzuki Method” with Helen Brunner.
· 02/2015: “The Art of Violin Playing” with Simon Fischer.
· 11/2015: "Alexander Technique and String Playing" with Henry Fagg.
· 09/2011-Present : The DaCapo Music Foundation Teachers Training Programme based on the methods of Kodaly and Dalcroze’s Eurythmics, created by cellist and pedagogue Jane Cutler.

Currently he combines his performing career with an intense teaching activity, working as a violin tutor for the The DaCapo Music Foundation, Haringey Music Service and his own private studio: Muswell Hill Violin Studio.
