Notes:
I am a Music graduate with years of experience teaching violin privately to adults and children. Last year I started working as a violin and musicianship teacher at Big Noise, delivering lessons to both groups and individual children. I also provide cover violin lessons with First Steps to Music.
My teaching style is completely flexible: I can offer a traditional approach to learning, building towards ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall exams if desired. I am also trained in both Kodaly and Colourstrings pedagogy, where my main passions lie.
I believe that playing violin should be fun and am committed to creating a musical sphere that is tangible to the child. I love passing on my own musical knowledge and experience to adults and children alike, and am looking forward to joining you on this new venture!
I prefer to teach from my own home in Scotstoun, but local travel is also considered (travel costs negotiable).
Lesson dates and times discussed upon contact on an individual basis.
