Instruments: Steve first started gigging in bands when he was 23 years of age, his bass playing experience kicking off in the early 1980’s, when performing in pubs & clubs.

In 1984 he contacted highly acclaimed Musical Director John Quirk, this saw him having private tuition for two years, they have remained in contact ever since.

After relocating to Warwickshire, in 2002, a friendship developed with guitarist Stuart Preston who ran a popular Music Shop. A room at the back of the shop was used as a studio with Steve conducting bass lessons there and giving private tuition at student’s homes.

He returned to live in Swansea in 2011, registering with RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors), and this saw him conducting bass guitar lessons in the community.
