Mira Ormala is a Classical Crossover soprano, actress and teacher who has performed in several award-winning shows in the West End, across the UK and internationally.

Her concert work includes performing at the Royal Albert Hall with Sir Elton John, appearing as a soloist for 'The Great British Musicals' as well as with the Welsh Musical Theatre Orchestra and touring worldwide with classical crossover duo 'Opera Girls'. Originally from Finland, Mira trained classically at the renowned Sibelius Academy in Helsinki before moving to London to train at the Royal Academy of Music. After graduating, Mira made her West End debut understudying and playing Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber's original production of 'Love Never Dies' at the Adelphi Theatre starring Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess.

Mira most recently starred as Christine Daaé in the Norwegian Premiere of 'The Phantom of the Opera', directed by Stephen Barlow and choreographed by Ewan Jones. Her other theatre credits include starring in the What's On Stage Award nominated 'You Won't Succeed on Broadway' at The Other Palace, Jill in 'Jack & The Beanstalk' at Theatre Royal Norwich, working with award winning director Tamara Harvey on 'Breeders' at The Other Palace, as well as playing Anne Egerman in Stephen Sondheim's 'A Little Night Music' at the Sir Jack Lyons Theatre.

Opera credits include 'Pirates of Penzance', 'The Mikado', 'Yeomen of the Guard' and 'The Sorcerer' with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company as well as 'Madama Butterfly', 'Turandot' and 'Mefistofele' at the Savonlinna Opera Festival.

Mira is also a passionate teacher and frequently teaches singing at Guildford School of Acting, Mountview, gives private tuition and holds masterclasses and online workshops both in person and online.
