Update: from March 2020 I am offering online lessons.
I cater my lessons to the abilities and interests of my pupils with an emphasis on enjoying all aspects of music making. I have students from as young as 5 to adults, both beginners, more advanced students and those returning to learning the piano.
I have prepared pupils for ABRSM and Trinity exams (performance and theory) and have coached instrumental students in the aural and sight-reading aspects of the examination syllabus. I have an excellent results record with most students gaining distinction or merit.
I have also coached students for school scholarship and entrance exams, for entry into the junior schools of the Royal Colleges of Music, and for the local Springboard Festival.
I teach from home in the Hartington Road area.
