Hello! My name is Gwen, and I'm Associate Principal Viola in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also a violin and viola teacher, teaching students of all ages and abilities.

I teach from my home near Princes Park, often with one of my two friendly cats nearby. I combine creativity, enthusiasm and praise with very high standards. I focus on my students playing with awareness and in a relaxed way, with good technique and lots of musicality. We work together to learn step-by-step, helping my students to develop their own inner teacher. Above all, I want my students to love what they do.
