Qualifications:
Jemima is a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music, and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with BMus(hons) in piano performance.

She is a graduate of the ABRSM CT course and is qualified to teach both practical piano and music theory.

She has over a decade of experience in teaching and accompaniment, working closely with local instrumental teachers to provide extremely popular courses in grade 5 theory, sight-singing for singers and aural preparation, allowing instrumental teachers to focus on the bulk of the practical exam preparation.

Aural support - I provide a popular aural support service working with local instrumental teachers to give extra aural awareness lessons to students in the run-up to their ABRSM exams, which can make the difference between that merit or distinction!

Sight-singing; for Trinity exams where singers have never had to sight-sing until the higher grades, I can provide a course of sessions to help learn and improve sight-singing techniques.

Notes:

Jemima is fully CRB checked and is fully capable to teach from beginners to grade 8+ of any age. She can provide flexible daytime or evening slots for adult learners to be confirmed on a week-on-week basis, or currently has vacancies for regular weekly time slots at a variety of times.

Please note that prices listed are when lessons are paid for in blocks of 4 by standing order on the first of each month. For one-off or 'pay as you go' lessons, fees are £30 per hour or £16 for 30mins.

A full cancellation policy must be signed before commencing lessons.
