Received Brass Merit Award 1994. Yannick Malboeuf (Trombone) has been playing trombone since he was 12 years old. He attended Humber College under the tutelage of Al Kay from 1994 to 1996. Yannick was awarded the Brass Merit Award while attending school at Humber. From School, he began performing as lead trombone for Grupo Mora. Yannick has performed with many groups in Toronto, including: Grupo Mora, Pacandé, Tropicuba Show, Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Royal Regiment of Canada, various Big Bands, Royal Caribbean Cruise ships, and currently Caché.
He has recorded over 12 CDs, lifetime, many of which have solos.
