Instruments: Piano
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

As a teacher I try to encourage my students to learn more about the music they play away from the piano allowing them to broaden their musical outlook. My aim is to teach technique, posture, aural skills and general musicality in order to create musical pianists.

In September 2017 I completed studying for a Masters Degree in chamber music and accompanying from the University of York. Now I am employed by Newcastle University and The Micheal Da Costa Singing Academy as an accompanist. In addition I work privately as a piano teacher and accompanist for singing lessons, recitals and workshops. My other work has included accompanying Miranda Wright's singers at the Ryedale Festival, as a rèpètiteur for a production of Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring, and as the pianist in the Jochama Piano Trio.
