Trevor studied trombone with Chris Davenport (LSO), Tony Parsons (BBC Symphony) and Michael Clack (SA Chalk Farm) and completed a Graduate Diploma in Music at Colchester Institute School of Music and a PGCE at Bath College of Higher Education (now Bath Spa University)

He taught for over 25 years running successful music departments at secondary schools in Surrey, South London and Kent before becoming Director of Music at an independent Prep School in London.

Specialising in Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba, Trevor has helped students attain excellent results in instrumental examinations from ABRSM and Trinity. He also works with adults who are either starting, or returning to playing for pleasure structuring lessons to suit their individual needs.

Away from teaching, Trevor performs in a variety of music ensembles including symphony orchestras, concert bands, music theatre and runs a brass quintet. He is also attempting to teach himself to play the organ.
