Notes:

I teach every aspect of guitar from technique to theory up to and beyond grade 8 standard (both Rockschool and Trinity syllabi).

I have 15 years playing experience, and also have experience playing live all around the UK. Stylistically, I specialise in Pop, Blues, Rock, and Metal. I teach both electric and acoustic guitar.

From an academic standpoint, I am a trained and certified Music Teacher, having completed a PGCE with the Manchester Metropolitan University. As well as this, I have a number of experiences teaching in a wide range of situations. Currently, as well as teaching guitar privately, I teach guitar and ukulele at Trinity Academy Halifax, as well as for Calderdale Music Trust.

My lessons are crafted to your needs. So whether it is just fun you are looking for, or you are a serious guitarist looking to push the boundaries of your playing, I can help you. I can deliver tuition towards the Rockschool and Trinity exams, and currently have a 100% pass rate at Merit and Distinction levels.

For every lesson I deliver, I provide lesson materials and detailed learning plans to further help you in your musical journey.

I can offer lessons in my purpose built teaching studio, or I am able to travel to you. Depending on the amount of time I may have spend travelling, this may incur a slightly higher teaching fee. The rate for a lesson either at my home or within 20 minutes travel time from my address is £15 for half an hour, and £25 for an hour.
