Cheuky is friendly and approachable, and uses her positivity to bring out the best in her students. She teaches all ages and ability, from beginner to conservatory level. She is experienced in preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams, often achieving Distinction or Merit.

Cheuky sets high standards for all her students, whether they are conservatory level, preparing for an exam, or learning for enjoyment. She believes it is very important to cultivate good technique from the beginning so the student's progress is not stilted by bad habits or strains and injuries. She adapts her teaching to suit individual goals and needs. Depending on their interests, classical or popular learning materials can be used. Musical literacy is highly encouraged so she is more than happy to help with developing sightreading skills. Aural training, if required, is more than merely practice and repetition, but supported by explanation of the underlying musical principles.

She is currently a piano teacher at Millfield Prep and Senior Schools.
