BMus (Honours in progress)
Instruments: viola
string ensembles
Genre/Style(s): mainly classical
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I recieved basic musical education in Hungary (Kodaly method) playing the violin (level equivalent to UK grade 8) and the viola (present principal instrument). I am currently a student at the RSAMD, my BMus (Hons) degree to be completed in July 2010. I am an active performer, mostly specializing in chamber music, and have experience in coaching smaller ensembles or orchestral sections. In addition to standard individual lessons for violin and viola I offer specialist classes on advanced bowing techiques (based on Sevcik opuses). I am flexible in adjusting to the musical aims and needs of the pupil, as I strongly believe music to be beneficial to personal development in any context (be it professional level or just a hobby) and at any stages of life.

I am happy to have an informal interview (with parent, if pupil under 16) to discuss details and possibly negotiate a trial lesson.
