Notes:

A practicing jazz educator, composer and performer with 35 years experience. His teaching practice was set up parallel with his performing career - a musically enriching experience and was priveliged to have performed with such great contemporary improvisors as Randy Brecker, Orphy Robinson, Mamadi Kamara, Dave Adams, Ernst Reisjeger, Han Bennink, Gary Valente, Chris Biscoe, Claude Deppa, Mano Ventura and Andy Sheppard, with whom he performed at major European and Scandinavian jazz and world music festivals.

His musical encounters and experiences as a performer nourish his teaching and provides his students with a platform from which to step into the language and performance of jazz.

High quality 1-2-1 tuition in: jazz, blues,composition, song writing, modern theory, classical piano to Grade 8 and classical theory to Grade 5 - ABRSM standard. Bass & Drums backing tracks are provided for jazz students - a much more enjoyable way to practise.
