Experienced, high-achieving, passionate and personable tutor.

I have tutored hundreds of students from beginners to degree level and from the very young to mature for over fourteen years, including at Blackheath Conservatoire and Eltham College where I was part of a strong educative team that was very successful in gaining students entry to Oxford and Cambridge universities. My approach to music education is bespoke and high-quality; I am fun and approachable in personality, but work hard with my students and expect them to achieve their full potential. A strong theoretical knowledge is the foundation of my pedagogy, upon which technical aspects and artistry is built. I also work with music technology and am particularly fluent with Sibelius as well as Logic.

Outside of teaching I am an active conductor and composer. I work across Europe with professional orchestras including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Tonkuenstler, Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of London and many others. More information about me as a conductor and composer can be found on my website:

I teach from my gorgeous home in picturesque Cheapside which is just a few minutes drive from Ascot. My home is a detached house in a quiet neighbourhood (with free parking) which is the ideal retreat to focus on music making.
