Chloé is a 21 year old Mezzo - Soprano from Cheltenham, currently studying her undergraduate course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tuition of Maureen Brathwaite and Helen Field.
Throughout Chloé's four years at the conservatoire she has experienced a wide variety of different teaching roles. From 2018-2020 she taught at Handsworth Girls academy in Birmingham teaching 6 sixth form pupils. She also interned with the Birmingham Music service working on the Youth Proms teaching 40 different schools including SEN schools as well and helped them create a week long concert programme at Birmingham Symphony hall. Chloé has also held workshops at RGS Springfield in Worcestershire working with 5-10 year olds creating various ways into music for them. Chloé has also been coached in French, Italian and German for four years. She has undergone two years of Pedagogy teaching and shadowing with he Birmingham Music service.
Chloé was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to study a four year vocal and operatic course, where she is currently in her final year. She has been singing with the CBSO Chorus and working with the Birmingham music service to further music in various schools around Birmingham. Chloé has performed at various venues around the country giving recitals in; St Martin in the Bullring, All Saints, Hertford and Malvern Priory. Chloe recently competed in the Charles wood International song prize and was awarded the Charles Wood prize in Northern Ireland. Chloe was also accepted onto the British Youth Opera course in 2020.
Chloé began her journey after winning a choral and drama scholarship to study at Malvern College. She then went on to sing at Worcester Cathedral in multiple concerts solo and choral. In 2017 she won 1st prize in the Worcester Competitive Arts festival in the opera and song categories.Chloé participated in a masterclasses from Quentin Hayes and has performed at St John's Smith Square.
During the Coronavirus pandemic like many others Chloe's performances were all cancelled or postponed, she therefore decided to do weekly performances off her balcony at home singing an array of different opera arias and songs. She gave these weekly concerts for walkers and passers by for 10 weeks during the lockdown and raised over £2000 pounds for the Leckhampton Sue Ryder foundation.
